Finally! A go at the PS3

Yes, I have finally got a chance to go hands on with the Play Station 3. First off I must say how I felt going into this. I was a tad worried due to all the crap I have heard about it. Was it really as bad as they say? I really wanted to find out so I played for about 30 minutes. I played two different games; Call of Duty 4 and Resistance : Fall of Man. WOW! Ok, First I played Resistance, 4 players. I didn't really like the multilayer but it wasn't that bad. It was a little too..."Hack and Slash" for me. Then I played Call of Duty, and man was this game great? It defiantly made my top shooter list. The PS3 it self was great. Besides the fact it's huge and heated the tiny room we were in. The controllers were amazing to hold, they were so light and well-fitting....But why was everyone saying it sucked so bad? I mean I really wanted one after that. Then I realized that all the people who told me it was crap were all X-Box fanboys! As much as I enjoy Halo 3, I enjoyed CoD4 more. Really guys, go out there and give it a try. You will love it. Even you X-box lovers!!

Get Your Master Cheif Cosplay Ready!

Ok, check this out. Jasman Toys joined the Halo franchise craze now with there Plasma rifle and Pistol replicas. They also have a Energy sword. What you do is get a shield and basically play laser tag but with foam darts. When you get shot you take damage. Not sure how the sword is going to work. I am supposing it will be either when you get close enough to your enemy or when you really whack in the chest....None the less this will be a great time!

I asked myself what I wanted to discuss first and I decided to talk about a little bit of everything. I'll just break down each major company and discuss in VERY brief, what I think about were they are at.

PS3-- Not much to say. We all know there problems (or at least what I see as problems). But I'll talk about some good things they have done lately.....well...um....They dropped there price! How about that?

360--Well they are doing pretty much amazing. Somewhere between a ton of great games coming out, and being the leading system in the hardcore genre. 360 has tons of games coming to it as well that were PS exclusives like GTA, Guitar Hero, Katamari damacy, Assassin's Creed, and more.

Wii--This is hard. I am a Nintendo Fan Boy to be honest. Though I am not sure how the wii is going to do or rather what it is going to do. I see it doing 1 of 2 things. One being doing amazing which it seams to be doing or two, just be a short term crave and rely on things like the "zapper" and fail. Now don't get me wrong the Zapper looks fun, but at this years E3 they acted like it was a big deal. Haven't a lot of third-party company's made this? That goes the same for the WiiWheel? I guess we will have to see.

My first blog post?

I always told myself that I didn't want to do a blog, but I now am here writing this. Going into the career that I want to go in I feel it is important to have a blog. I am not sure of the "laws" of the blogging world but I guess I'll make it up as I go.

You might be wondering what Chuuyou stands for. Well it simply means 'a middle of an era'. I found this appropriate because I feel like it is the middle of an era for me. A turning point in my life. I need to get structured an prepared for life now.

My interest are Video games..... Yep, that about sums it up. So I will be mostly talking about video games here. I will post any big news I see in the video game world and discuss what I think about it. I might expand the world of my blog a little more then just gaming but it will be kept generally around that. I hope this to be as active as I can make it with tons of post and news!
